Dr. William Bradley
Dr. Bradley received his B.A. and DVM from Colorado State University in 1972, then completed an internship and a large animal surgical residency at Kansas State University in 1976. He practiced on the racetrack in Nebraska for a year before moving to the East Coast, and has been with New England Equine Practice ever since.
Dr. Gabriel Cook
Dr. Cook received his B.A. from Vassar College in 1986 and his DVM from Cornell University in 1992. He completed an internship at Rood and Riddle Equine Hospital, followed by a large animal surgical residency at North Carolina State University. He joined the practice in 1998 and is a diplomate of the American College of Veterinary Surgeons.
Dr. Kathy Hunter
Dr. Hunter received her B.S. from Rutgers University in 2003 and a BVMS from the University of Glasgow in 2014. She completed a surgical residency at Peterson and Smith Equine Hospital in 2019, after which she joined New England Equine Practice.

Dr. Christine Whalin
Dr. Whalin received her DVM from Colorado State University in 2015, completed her internship at New England Equine Practice in 2017, and finished her residency for the American Board of Veterinary Practitioners in Equine Practice here in 2019. She is now an associate at Advanced Equine of the Hudson Valley.
Dr. Jeremy Frederick
Dr. Frederick founded Advanced Equine of the Hudson Valley. He received his DVM from the Ontario Veterinary College in Guelph in 2005 and completed an internship at the University of Minnesota. He is a diplomate of the American College of Veterinary Internal Medicine, having completed his residency at the University of Florida, and is certified in veterinary acupuncture. He works with us on internal medicine and oncology cases.

The practice runs a postgraduate internship for veterinarians and hosts high school, college, and graduate externs.
Interns rotate between the hospital and the road, scrub in on colic and orthopedic surgery, and work alongside every veterinarian in the practice.
